Conductive Gels & Sprays are applied to carbon rubber electrodes and fabric conductive garment
electrodes as a conductive medium. The entire conductive surface of the electrode must be covered;
otherwise, exposed carbon surfaces without gel will not conduct properly and may irritate the skin.
Lotions are used after electrode removal to moisturize and keep skin supple, as well as to treat burns or chafed skin. Never apply before electrode placement, as the oils will prevent electrodes from sticking.
Adhesive removers are applied onto the skin after electrode removal to wipe off any residue. They are great for use with disposable electrodes and tape patches, making the electrode removal a lot easier and less painful.
